If you have already experienced the unique pleasures of flying with our 'First Flight' experience, then you will be interested in learning more.

If the bug bites (and believe us, it can bite hard!) then your course is set to enjoy our comprehensive training to take you through to your Private Pilot's Licence (PPL(A)) or National Pilot's Private Pilot's Licence (NPPL(A)).

For those who already enjoy a PPL, but wish to extend their skills, then we recommend our Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) training will meet your requirements.

Not enough for you? Then why not go on to choose from a Night or Multi-engine rating or, indeed, our Aerobatic course.

The new National Private Pilot's Licence (NPPL) makes private flight accessible to more people. While the NPPL restricts the licence holder to flight within the UK, the relaxation of medical fitness criteria allied to a reduced curriculum make it an ideal licence for many.

Instead of the requirement for a JAR Class 1, or 2 aviation medical certificate (issued only by appointed CAA medical examiners) the applicant merely needs to be certified as being fit to fly by their GP. An existing yardstick for expected levels of fitness is is the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Group 2 standard for professional driving. If you are fit enough to drive a truck, now you are fit enough to fly!

The CAA have approved a reduced syllabus; 32 hours flight training as opposed to 45 hours for a full PPL licence.

You can chose to train for your NPPL using one of our C172 or PA28 aircraft - check our prices.

One of our Piper Warrior PA28's - an ideal training platform

While the NPPL holder is not allowed to fly outside UK airspace, the NPPL might be the ideal introduction for you. Later, you can cross-train to a full PPL if the lure of the French coast proves too great (you can transfer up to 30 hours NPPL for your application for a PPL).

Our NPPL traiming conforms to CAA regulations;
